New Zealand’s most exclusive hotel offering, Eichardt’s Private Hotel’s ultra-luxury rooftop abode – aptly named “The Penthouse” – will officially open its doors on 1 December 2016.
Commanding NZD$10,000 per night for its sweeping 180 view over Queenstown’s Lake Wakatipu, exquisite design and VIP service, The Penthouse is the prize jewel in the Marine Parade $6 million development, which also includes a brand new bistro, ‘The Grille by Eichardt’s’ and two lavish Hotel Lake View Suites to complement the Louis Vuitton and World boutiques.
In true Eichardt’s style, The Penthouse (accessed by private elevator) oozes elegance with its terrace spa, in-suite sauna, 24/7 butler service, pre-dinner cocktail amenity complete with whiskey bar and afterhours private Louis Vuitton shopping experience. Guests will also enjoy Krug Champagne refreshed daily, deluxe toiletries, commercial grade kitchen, private chef and Land Rover with driver at their disposal.
With significant interest and a number of pre-bookings from discerning international guests ahead of its christening, The Penthouse (part of the Imperium Collection of luxury boutique hotels owned by Christchurch NZ-born, Melbourne, Australia-based businessman Andrew Cox) presents a unique accommodation experience for Queenstown.

The completion of the development, including 700sqm dedicated to high end retail, is eagerly anticipated by business and tourism leaders, as well as the Queenstown community.
Before construction, the entire development underwent archaeological excavation in order to discover and preserve the unique heritage of the area and of the Wakatipu Basin.

Rates for the 240sqm (plus 100sqm balcony) penthouse suites are from NZD$10,000 per night including taxes, with the two additional Lakefront Suites available for NZD$1950 per night. Reservations are officially open from 1 December 2016.
